My preferred way of cooking fluffy brown rice

  1. Heat a large pot or saucepan with water and salt and let it come to a boil.
  2. Add grains to the boiling water, stir it once.
  3. Reduce heat and cook the rice uncovered at medium high heat for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain it in a colander.
  5. Then return it quickly to the still hot pot.
  6. Let it sit in the covered pot for another 10 minutes.
  7. Lightly fluff the rice and serve.
  8. Eat and enjoy.
